About Dharamshala
Dharamshala is a city in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas, this hillside city is home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile. The Thekchen Chöling Temple Complex is a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism, while the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives houses thousands of precious manuscripts. Dharamsala is located in the Kangra valley,  in the shadow of the Dhauladhar  mountains.The city is divided into two distinct sections. Kotwali Bazaar and the surrounding markets are referred to as “Lower Dharamshala” or just “Dharamshala.” Further up the mountain is Macleod Ganj A steep, narrow road connects McLeod Ganj from Dharamshala and is only accessible to taxis and small cars, while a longer road winds around the valley for use by buses and trucks. McLeod Ganj is surrounded by pine,  Himalayan oak.

DAY 02: Dharamshala-Tredevi Darshan –

After breakfast,Visit Shakti Peeth  Chamunda Temple,Brejeshwari Temple,Jawalaji Temple .Shri Chamunda Devi Mandir also known as Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham is a temple dedicated to Shri Chamunda Devi, a form of Goddess Durga, located at 19 km away from Palampur town in Dharamshala Tehsil of Kangra district of the Northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh

The Shree Vajreshwari Mata Mandir also known as Kangra Devi Mandir is one of the 51 Shakti Pithas dedicated to the goddess Vajreshvari, a form of Goddess Durga located in the town Kangra in the Northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

Jawala Ji or Jwala devi temple is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths of India and Jawala Ji Temple is one of the highly venerated Shakti Temples in India. It is situated in the lap of Shivalik range of Kangra valley called “Kalidhar”. This is believed to be the first ever temple built by the Pandavas. Jwala Ji is a Devi Temple Dedicated to the “GODDESS OF LIGHT”, located in Jawala Mukhi, district Kangra of Himachal Pradesh. Have dinner & overnight stay.

DAY 03: Dharamshala-City Tour & Depart To Dalhousie

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and Half Day sightseeing (Dalai Lama’s Palace, Buddhist Monasteries, McLeod Ganj, Cricket Stadium  and Bhagsu Naag temple & After sightseen till 4 Pm  depart for Dalhousie(118 k.m.) .Arrival at Dalhousie check in to hotel have dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 04: Dalhousie - Khajjiar

 After breakfast, drive towards the tour to Khajjiar (called Mini Switzerland of India) Khajjiar is famous for the popular Khajji Naga shrine dedicated to the serpent god from which the name is believed to have been derived.Today also visit Kalatop wild life century. Have dinner & overnight stay.

Dalhousie is a high-altitude town spread across 5 hills near the Dhauladhar mountain range in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It’s home to colonial-era buildings, including St. Francis and St. John’s churches, which date back to the rule of the British Raj in the 1800s. A trek up Dainkund Peak leads to Pholani Devi Temple. To the north, Subhash Baoli is a peaceful area with pine trees and panoramic views.

DAY 05: Dalhousie – Chamera Dam –Chamba Chaugan

After breakfast, full day tpoour of Chamera dam & Chamba Chaugan

,In Chamera day you can enjoy boating at own bases, The Chaugan is the heart and hub center of all activity in Chamba. According  to Dr. J. Hutchison, “ The town is built on two terraces. On the lower is the Chaugan a fine grassy sward, about a half a mile long by eighty yards broad. Tradition is silent as to its use as a polo ground and the name is etymologically distinct from Chaugan, the Persian name of Polo, being of Sanskrit origin and meaning ‘four-sided; Besides being a public promenade and recreation-ground, the Chaugan was utilized for State Darbars and sports”. Today’s morning, check-out from the hotel & depart towards dropping point Delhi/Ambala/ Chandigarh/Kalka/Amritsar. Dropping at  Airport/Railway,,Tour with sweet memories.
