Munnar –Thekkedy-Alleppey - Kanyakumari-Kovalam-Trivandum
Day 01: Arrive Cochin, Drive to Munnar
You will be welcomed and joined by our executive upon your arrival at the Cochin airport/ Railway station. You will then head on to Munnar which is approximately a 4 hour drive from Cochin. The winding roads up the hill, the changing scenery, the air gradually turning crisp and the slow drop in temperature should let you know that the beautiful experience you were looking for has just begun. Arrive at Munnar and check into the resort. Later in the evening, visit Tea Museum. Learn how tea is processed from raw fresh tea leaves to its final packaging. You can also visit Munnar town and shop for spices and handmade chocolates. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 02: Munnar Day Tour
After breakfast we take you on a full day sightseeing trip of Munnar, the tea town of Kerala. The sprawling tea gardens are sure to take your breath away. We visit the Eravikulam National Park to get a glimpse of the Nilagiri Thar. The soft trek up the hill in the middle of the park will be worth your while. We then proceed to visit Mattuppetty Dam, Eco Point, Kundala Lake, Blossom Garden, Pothenmedu View point and Top station. Overnight at the resort.
Day 03: Munnar to Thekkady
Toyad morning after Breakfast , we drive to Thekkady covering a distance of 110kms / 4 hrs amidst the cardamom hills flanking the road with the occasional waterfalls. After checking into the resort at Thekkady and having lunch, you can proceed to take a boat ride on the lake and the Periyar dam. During the boat ride ,you can get rare glimpses of wild animals such as elephants, deer and rare birds. The forest department also offers many programs including Periyar tiger trail, nature walk, bamboo rafting, etc. which you can take part in. Overnight stay at Thekkady resort.
Day 04: Thekkady to Alleppey
After breakfast we set out on an early start drive to Alleppey.. The Venice of the East will welcome you with its serene backwaters and mouth watering cuisine. You can board your houseboat. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow canals of the Vembanad lake. Explore the scenic backwaters while passing through lagoons, canals, lakes, rivers and inlets. See the traditional villages and coconut groves from the deck of the boat.. Enjoy your stay on the houseboat with twinkling stars above and the tranquil waters beneath.
Day 05 Alleppey Houseboat to Kovalam
Morning get up early to enjoy sunrise of backwater , also you will get a chance to see fishermen catching fish of boat men selling household items in their small canoe , After breakfast proceed to Kovalam beach. The journey is through costal areas of Kerala, you can see , view of lagoons rivers, evergreen coconut palms make this journey very enjoyable , Reach Kovalam and check in at your hotel It is one of the beast beaches of India with its lovely slice beach sand and perfectly positioned palms. Evening relax on the Kovalam beach . Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Kovalam – Same Day Kanyakumari - Trivandum
Enjoy the sunrise on the beach, after breakfast proceed for same day trip to Kanyakumari enroute visit majestic Padmanaphapuram The capital of the State of Travancore. built in the Travancore architectural style arrive kanyakumari and check in at hotel afternoon go for kanyakumari sightseeing . Visit Vivekananda Rock that houses a memorial dedicated to Swami Vivekanan .The Memorial is built at the convergence of the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. Kanyakumari is a place where you can enjoy Sun rise and Sunset from the same point, something special to remember.Return back to Trivandum. Overnight at Hotel.
Sightseeing:- Sightseeing includes Kanyakumari beach which is the sangam of Indian ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian sea. Visit Vivekananda rock.Stay at Trivandrum/Kovalam Hotel
Day 07: Trivandum Tour
Today morning after breakfast visit Trivandrum Sightseeing includes Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple,Kuthiramalika Palace museum, The Napier museum, Sree Chithra art gallery, zoological park, science and technology museum, Kanakakunnu Palace, planetarium. Stay at Trivandrum/Kovalam Hotel
Day 08: Departure from Trivandum
Today morning after breakfast travel back to Trivandum .Cab drop you at Trivandum Airport/Railwaystation.
