7 Nights 8 Days ShriKhand Mahadev Yatra
Day 1 Shimla-Dev Dhank- Jaon
Today morning pickup from Shimla by Cab and transfer to Jaon village. On the way visit Dev Dhank temple. This place from where Lord Shiva disappears in Mountain from the Dev Dhank Caves. Dinner & overnight stay in Jaon homestay
Day 2: Jaon –Singhaad(3 KM)
Today morning after breakfast start Kailash Yatra trekking. Today we have to trek till Thaachru total trek of 15 Km. Today do registration & medical checkup at Singhaad if online registration not done. Registration & id proof check by Police department.
Today Hike the near by hills.
Overnight stay at Singhaad camp.
Day3 : Singhaad– Thaachru (12 Km)
Today morning after breakfast start trek towards Thaachru on the way Baratinala 1.5 km from Singhaad. From Baratinala to Thaachru it’s a steep slope with an elevation angle of approximately 70 degrees hiking of approx. 10 kms.
On this way you are crossing to a forest with different type of trees like Devdar.
Overnight stay at Thaachru camp.
Day 4: Thaachru – Kali Ghati top(3 Km) – Bheem Talai–Kunsa (4 Km)
Today early morning after breakfast start your trek towards Kunsa of 10 km. our first rest point is Kali Ghati top( Carry 2 lt. of water from Thaachru because there is no water source till Kali Ghati top) 3 Km from Thaachru, during this walk your surrounding change from trees to herbs. At Kali top you have a chance to see Shrikhand Mahadev Shiva-Linga from a big distance if weather is clear & Lord Shiva wish.Then start trek down towads Naltu its 2 km trek. From Naltu little down trek towards Bheem Talai, at Bheem Talai there is a small water boudy which is know to made by Bheem of Maha Bharat for his bath. over night stay at Kunsa camp. Kunsa is the last point upto where Gaddi tride graze their goats & sheeps.
Day 5: Kunsa- Bheem Dawaar (3 Km) - Parvati Bagh(2 Km)
Today morning after breakfast start trek towards Parvati Bagh of 5 Kms.on the way to Bheem Dawaar you will see Lalpani this is the place where Basmasur put his hand on his own head because its got influence by the dance of Mohini which is avtar of Lord Vishnu.on reaching Bhim Dawari take some rest then start steep trek towards Parwati Bhag.on the way you cross though Parvati waterfall/nala. Parvati Bagh is that place from where Lordess Parvati carry flowers to worship of Lord Shiva at Shrikhand Mahadev.you will see Bharam Kamal flower of Lord Shiva.(Kindly don’t pluk flower or carry to home because its prbitted in Hindu Cuture.)
Overnight stay at Parwati bhag.
Day 6 Parvati Bagh – Nansarovar (2 kms) – Bhim Shidi (1 km)- Shri Khand Mahadev (2Kms) – Bheem Dawaar (7 Km)
Today early morning after breakfast start trek towards Shrikhand Mahadev of 5 Km.firstly visit Nainsarovar lake 2 km from Parvati Bagh.Take holy dip in chilled water of Nainsarovar lake only if body permits never take bath after seeing that others taking, you can take just here clean ur feets, hands and face & start most dangerous trekking part of Yatra.AT Bhim shidi you walk on the big rocks stairs made by Bhim for Pavdavs during their Yatra.on Reaching Shri Khand Mahadev you will firstly see big rock stuture which is know as replica of lord Ganesha.On the ShivLingam the side facing Lord Ganesh is worship as Lordess Parvati & the back side as Lord Shiva.The mountain peak which you will see from Lord Shiva is Worship as Lord Kartik.(Never go for the trek of Karkit peak).After Darshan trek down back to Bheem Dawaar of 7 Km.Over night stay in Bheem Dawaar Camps.
Day 7: Bheem Dawaar – Kalitop
Today morning trek back to Kalitop of 10 Km.Overnight stay in Thachu.
Day 8: Kalitop - Thachu – Shingarh – Jaon
Today moring after breakfast trek down to Jaon.overnight stay at Home stay.
Day 9: Jaon – Dev Dhank –Shimla/Chandigarh
Today moring after breakfast travel back to Shimla/Chandigarh on the way visit Dev Dhank temple to complete the Yatra. Cab drop you at your dropping point in Shimla/Chandigarh.
